Sportsman Guide CLI

I have a friend who is rebuilding credit and got the Sportsman Guide Visa via shopping cart trick a couple of months ago.  He recieved a 1k limit.

When can he request his 1st CLI and how should he do it, through chat or luv button.

He can do it anytime and the best way is via the CLI button.  Usually they don't give out CLIs on that card until 6 months after approval

Thanks.  I wasn't sure if it was 4 months or 6 months. 

Any chance you know when can he asked Capital One for the first Credit Limit increase?

CapOne used to be 6 months as well but recently posters have received CLIs only couple months after approval.  Tell him just to try.  No harm if he's denied as he can keep trying

I can tell you for sure it isnt 3 weeks.  I dont know what I was thinking but right after I set up my online account, I hit the luv button and it did not work.

I'll wait for the six months now, thanks fo rthe info.
