Has anyone else received a notification after applying saying they need to further review but will let you know as soon as possible ?

@Anonymous, Credit Card ...

The response you got is a common one from Chase, it just means that your application will be screened further and is completely neutral as to the status of your application.
It may need to be reviewed by an analyst who either gives a preliminary approval which is signed off by an underwriter or issues a denial.
They may need to follow up with you in order to confirm that it really was you who applied for the card or to get additional information.
You can try calling the robolady at 1-800-432-3117 daily to check on the status of your application. 30 day status means they haven't completed their review yet, 14 days means they reviewed and you're tentatively approved pending signoff from an underwriter, 7-10 days means that they will be contacting you either for verification purposes or with a denial.
Good luck!
