Starting limit reconsideration?

This is my 2nd card, 1st card cap1 has a CL of 1.5k more than a year old. My fico8 was 744 before applying for 2nd card.

Has anyone ever successfully negotiated a higher SL? Or are you stuck for 6/12mo?

That's an option if your account has been open for <30 days.  Keep in mind you'd have to state your case for the CLI and they can have the UW re-review for a SL reconsideration.  No guarantees, but worth a shot.  Just be sure to let them know they have already an HP on file so they don't HP you again - so if you just got the card recently, call the UW #1-866-412-5956.

Update:
Called UW backdoor#, they said because I was approved it would have to go through normal CSR# but that it being <30 days they would use the original pull.

CSR was attempting to initiate the increase but needed information from the physical card before they could continue. So I have to wait until it gets here lol. Seemed like it was a normal request from how both reps handled the call. Guess i was the only one with butterflies.

Edit 12/13:
They submitted my request and said I should receive notice in mail in 7-10 business days. Probably being reviewed by UW.

WF acceptance letter showed my EX8 @ 764 but with multiple notes about limited history and no [current] installment loan.


Edit 12/28:
For those that end up here from a search, i receieved an AA letter denying my reauest for review/increase of SL. Didn't state a CR reason, said insufficient history with WF.
