EDITED TO ADD The credit card was approved membership still pending see my post in credit card approvals. After some thinking I decided to apply for this card. Thank you to all who provided input and advice on this credit union and card. A second factor was several posts by those who the card of auto CLI's on a regular basis.Will my experiece be the same I don't know. Lastly the SDFCU web site says the minimum credit limit is $5,000. I was able to apply for membership and the credit card at the same time. I provided as much information as I could my ID's, pay stub, and a copy of my ACC membership certificate. Their was option on the application regarding membership will join the credit union if the credit card application is approved which I took. Their savings rates are below what I am currently receiving from my bank and credit unions. I could say that about many banks and credit unions.
On Staturday their was a hard pull on Experian and my credit card application is pending. The membership is still in the status as it was when I submitted the application. So I think I will hear back on Tuesday once the membership process is completed. My Experian FICO 08 score is 820 per Experian website and my credit utilization is at 1% or less. Last hard inquiry was a year ago. All that said is will see what happens.
