I applied for the BoA Cash Rewards card back on 4/28/19 and my 1 year anniversary just came and gone. Yet, I still don't see this elusive *LUV* button everyone speaks of.
I understand the button only appears if your account qualifies for a CLI and I've read some older posts that suggests BoA tends to bucket certain cards they deem as higher risk. I guess they consider me to be amongst that group. So I waited past the 3-month, 6-month, and now 12-month mark. But still nothing.
I had a checking account with them at the time, but closed it last fall (6 months after I opened the card). I also had an auto loan with them (that was nearly 30% paid off, all on-time payments), but the car was totaled in a crash 2 months ago. So needless to say, I don't see the lack of a relationship being an issue.
Also, I mainly used it for restaurant purchases (putting a few hundred dollars on it per month), although I haven't done this recently because of COVID-19.
Any of you guys have an idea why I still can't see this CLI button? This is really frustrating me.
You can always request a CLI by phone.
Have you tried logging in and searching for credit limit increase? It will likely take you to the correct screen. I can say from personal experience after logging in from the computer, the default home page you land on doesn't usually show it.
I look at the main page which displays my personal account / credit card as a blue hypertext link. Click on the card link itself, and then on the card screen you should see the 'Credit Limit Increase' link displayed under your last payment.

Per your suggestion, I just tried searching for Credit Limit Increase and when I got to the screen, an error message appears stating "We're unable to display your account."

Thanks for confirming that. If someone else has further info on that, chime in here at your will. To me, using deductive reasoning and process of elimination, it leads me to believe that either:
Either way, if the sytem feels you aren't eligble, but you've had the account for a year... I'd be inclined to call and butter up the rep to find out more .
@Anonymous suggested you give them a call. That's what I'd tell you to do. You might glean some new info about your account.
I was hoping to avoid the phone call, because:
1. I don't want to draw unneeded attention to my account for a manual review.
2. The long call wait times.
(^^^both In light of the ongoing pandemic and economic conditions).
But if I want a CLI, I guess I may not have a choice.
Thanks everyone. Any other answers / explanations are still welcome.
Calling them might be your only choice at this point.
But before doing that try clearing your browser's cache, cookies and history first then reboot then try logging in again and see if the CLI button shows up this time.
Good Luck and keep us posted.

This thread got me curious and I just noticed that my CLI links are now gone. They’ve always been there even when ineligible for a CLI (after getting one less than 3 mos earlier).
Maybe it’s the current economic conditions or I just hit a high exposure limit with BofA, or both.
My CLI link is there in my Chrome browser, but I'll wait a couple more months before I try for it.
