No explanation was given on the letter other than BK. When I spoke with EEO she stated that was the primary reason. I really want the CSP and or Freedom so I will wait 24 months as I dont meet criteria anyway due to the 5/24 rule. In 24 months I willl be 5.5 yrs post BK D/C and should meet their criteria at that point. By then my scores should be in the 750 range. Currently 700 avg.

Applied for the amazon Visa. Denied. Attempted recon with EEO. No go due to BK. Reminded them that I paid an auto loan and student loan off with them and they were not IIB. Oh well I got back in with CITI and BofA. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Lol
Sorry to hear that OP.....I can totally relate... I can't get back in due to my including them in my Ch7 (6 yrs ago)..... It is a big world of other creditors like others have said but I also know the feeling of just wanting to accomplish a goal....

I burned Chase in my CH13 back in 09 and they still won't let me back in for a CC, but they financed my car last year for over $60k! Go figure? lol
Yea... that makes so sense.... lol...but maybe they will let you in soon.
I may be wrong but I checked the list before applying and the Amazon card was not included in the 5/24 rule. There are still some good co-branded cards not included such as the BA card.
I should add that when my Chapter 13 still showed I was instantly denied by Chase. After it fell off I was approved for two cards. So that bankruptcy is important to them, it seems.
I thought Chase Amazon Visa was known to be harder to get and start with a lower limit. Oh well, the Amazon Prime card is much better in my eyes Try Freedom when you can and then report back!
Only you should be so lucky as to have gotten the Freedom Card. LOL

LolDon't feel too bad, i had 3 Chase credit cards and one day i got mad talking to them on the phone and closed all 3 and i'm still living
..........There is nothing especial about Chase and they don't even have the LUV Button, they show it to you sometimes but not all the time like most credit cards, Don't waste your energy thinking about Chase.......There is a big world out there
There really is a big world out there. American Express will never let me back in, but I belong to three outstanding credit unions and have cards with many other creditors. Try again in a year, if that is what you want to do, but be sure you want to take that HP first. Good luck to you.
I used to think that, since I burned them in Bankruptcy. They did, though, just took time.
I'd honestly forget about trying to get in with Chase. I have a Chase Freedom and within those 2 years, they have yet to give me an automatic CLI. While I just got approved for an Amex Plat Business.
Pathetic. (Not you. Chase.)
