@ Scupra I am going for the CSP and my wife will try for the Citi's Costco card (Both Chase and CITI were IBB).  We have all the Capital One and Barclays Cards we need at this time.  Again, thank your for being such a great mentor on this board. Thank you! I wish you both the best of luck Smiley Happy Make sure to post results in our BK friendly card thread.

Remember Chase auto declines w/ BK on report. You must call in to recon after. Be as nice as possible yet assertive at the same time. I call in and say, "I was auto declined for BK and wanted to inquire about a reconsideration." Just get the BK out of the way to start

Applied for the amazon Visa. Denied. Attempted recon with EEO. No go due to BK. Reminded them that I paid an auto loan and student loan off with them and they were not IIB. Oh well I got back in with CITI and BofA. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Lol

Chase is a PITA to deal with anyway.  I don't see why there's all the hype on here between apps for their products and discussions about 5/24 rules.  Count it as a blessing and if you can get in with Citi you could probably pull off AMEX / Discover.

I burned them and my BK has been off for a few months now but they still won't tocuh me. Them, Amex, Citi and Discover! Cap1 was the only one that gave me a second chance, and I burned them pretty good. They are the only one's I will keep.

I feel like every lender can be a "PITA to deal with" depending on the opinion of the person dealing with the lender. I have had ZERO issues with Chase.

AMEX requires your BK to be older than 5 years.

@morgacj2004 is the Citi card the wifes? Or did I miss you being approved now too?

Re: Still can't get in with CHASE

I've given up on Chase. I've been a loyal customer for 10 years and they have the AUDACITY to ask to do a credit check for a CLI. While every other card I have does automatic CLI. Man Mad

Jk. Not mad about it. Smiley LOL Amex has become my main card.

Costco Visa Approval.jpg

My wife was instantly approved for Costco Visa for 8K, 4 1/2 post discharged with CITI IIB, 08 FICO EXP 715.

Don't know what to do with Chase since some people still get denied 10 years later when Chase was IIB.

Will go in to a branch next week to see a banker and apply anyway.
