Got the Amex Delta gold on Wedneaday ... then took my BCP from 0 to 80% of the limit on a materials order for work on Friday.. (I’ll pay it back off next week once they arrive.).
Amex be like “NOPE! LOL. Really bruh?!?” Get a new card... max out the existing card and then ask for another before the 2nd one even arrives?!?
It’s just a SP though at least and I can just recon it after I pay the BCP back off.

Not angry in the least - kinda laughed at the decline actually. Was a sort of “wth did you think they were gonna say?!?” moment.
I’ve had the BCP for quite some time, just the Delta is new. Having the existing relationship, it’s a SP and not a big deal really.
Moral of the story is don’t make yourself APPEAR like you’re about to run up the bills on Amex before bailing.
