Synchrony Application Limit?

Hi everyone!

  I was recently approved for a few store cards backed by Synchrony.  about 2 months has passed and I applied for another card and received an email a few days later with a code to check the status, which says reason for denial is too many accounts of this typed opened recently. 

Does anyone know if there's a limit or is there a specific amount of time before Sync will approve additional applications?

I would wait at least 6 months but keep in mind that Synchrony is not shy about closing all cards you have with them if they think you're too risky. I try to keep to having 2 Sync cards at any given time to avoid that possibility. I would think carefully about the value you get from these cards before opening more.

Interesting. Definitely wait at least a few months. Or try a different issuer.

I've read that about them, and I don't plan on trying for a bunch more, but I would to try for the Walmart card.  I appreciate the reply.
