Don't be discouraged with the 7-10 days letter sometimes they are actually an approval letter needing you to verify some info. Also I have had my Walmart card since the end of May and in the last 24 hours it has gone from $900 credit limit to a $6000 limit. I have only used $504 on the card and paid it off the week before the statement cut. Use your Walmart card a time or two pay it in full and then use the chat feature to get your limit increased. It has worked for me this week on several of my SYNC store cards. Low limits now are 5,000.

That's what I'm doing. I'll use them and pay off in full. So I'll just wait it out

I just used the Walmart card at SAMs club for household supplies and gas. We're going to pay the balance off tomorrow.

It was interesting reading this post, especially for those who stated they can use the Wal-Mart card at Sam's Club.  I have a Wal-Mart credit card and a Sam's credit card...neither are the mastercard versions.  I can use my Sam's card at Wal-Mart but I can't use my Wal-Mart card at Sam's.

Both cards allow me to get cash back and I do like to take advantages of the gas prices from each locations whenever possible.  I started off with low limits but via chat I am now over the $5,000 limit with both cards.

That's really weird that you can't use your Walmart card at Sam's.  I have both and have not had a problem yet.  Have you contacted Synchrony Bank about that cause they are supposed to be interchangeable.  Haven't bought anything online however, so don't know if that will work.  Most times when I buy something online, Amazon is my go to place.  I like chat also.  Every time I call in they try to convince me to try the luv button.  Just got Sam's this month, so I'm waiting for a statement to cut, to request a CLI , that's seems to work the best for me.  Wish I could do like others and get the increases at activation, but guess I'm just not the special, but whatever works is all good.
