Re: Synchrony Bank hates me for no reason

Time will take care of this. Just give it time and lower your utilization. Good luck to you. Don't be discouraged. We have all had our difficulties. It is a good reason to be in the forum. We help each other.

Re: Synchrony Bank hates me for no reason

Seems to be the C/O and maybe even the lower CL's...? I really don't know. It's hard to gauge from someone else's approval whether or no you'll be approved. It can be a good indicator, but not the end all.

Anyway...I'd be more concerned with the fact that they are saying you have these 30/60/90s and you say you don't. Did you request a copy of the credit report they are getting this from?

no I didnt request anything nor was I given time. The angry heffer that I spoke withs fat aggression took control of her and she hung up the phone. I was shocked by this. Sorry but I mean no offense to anyone here. Please excuse my negative tone. I guess I was expecting the same level of CS i get form Discover or BofA when I called. SO much for assumptions.

Re: Synchrony Bank hates me for no reason

675 TU and you're getting denials? Wow.  My cousin just app'd when I did a couple weeks ago, and his TU is 650 and he got approved for $900. I got approved with a 671 TU for $1800 and then recon for $4K.  I have no idea why you're getting declined. Like I posted in another thread, all this stuff is one big game, and is hit or miss. As far as building your scores this site can be dead on, but getting approved is up to the lenders it seems no matter what score you have.

Ok so I have apped for the Amazon store card a couple times over the past 4 months and keep getting instant denials. Here is a brief look at my CR:

1 Derrogatory Account- Charge Off $2122 Aug 2010- Currently making payments to get rid of it as DFAS said they will 100% PFD

Discover Secured- $200 100% PIF before statement cuts never late

BofA Secured- $300 100% PIF before statement cuts never late

Cap1 QS1- $500 100% PIF before statement cuts never late

Cap1 QS- $300 100% PIF before statement cuts never late

Eddie Bauer- $250- Never used

7 Student Loans $18K, still in school and no payments are due until 12/27/2020

AAoA 26 months

Oldest Account is 12 years - Cap1/Bestbuy 100% ontime payments never late, closed by me.

Why won't Synch budge and give me an Amazon card? I tried to Recon and the CSR was very rude and said Synch does not manually review Amazon applications and "politely" hung up in my face. I wasnt rude at all. I have spent close to $17k with Amazon in the past two years on my hobbies and am thinking to say to hell with Amazon and spend my money elsewhere.

My main issue is I have seen CR's from others that were 100% worse than mine who were approved.

My reported income is $55440

Any and all advice is welcome

Your 30/60/90 usually show up on your credit report, not your 1B, which you can get for free annually.  What is DFAS?  Sometimes if the CO is still reporting monthly it can hurt you because the account never has a chance to age.  When I paid off my last collection account, I started getting approvals for better amounts.  I got turned down the first time I applied, and when you apply how much time passes before you reapply.  Synchrony has a 30 day wait period before reapplying.

Re: Synchrony Bank hates me for no reason

I think it is attached to the CO, the 30/60/90 are in there somewhere more than likely. Generally most COs go thru late payment processes and those follow the account into the CO status for 7 years of paymeny history. How old are the accoutns you have? You may have put it in here somewhere and I jst didn't see it,

Re: Synchrony Bank hates me for no reason

I laso just thought of something too, you stated that you have applied a few times over the past 4 months? Look at the denial letters you will be getting and look at the date they pull your credit report. They do not pull a new report every time you apply. If they are close together they will just use one that is recent and in their time window they consider a recent pull and deny you based off of an old report not always the most up to date one. I asked for an increase on Wal-Mart and Lowes the same day. Wal-Mart score was 6 points higher and new pull that day,....Lowes was 6 points lower and used a report from December of 2015.

Amazon has been a tough nut to crack lately. I can get approved with just about any Synchrony card but that Amazon keeps denying me. I'm scratching my head too.

Trust me when I tell you there is no such thing as a late payment anywhere on my credit report. Never has been and hopefully never will be. DFAS is Defense Finance & Acconting Services (The people who pay the military salaries). It will be off my report by next month hopefully.
