I think it is attached to the CO, the 30/60/90 are in there somewhere more than likely. Generally most COs go thru late payment processes and those follow the account into the CO status for 7 years of paymeny history. How old are the accoutns you have? You may have put it in here somewhere and I jst didn't see it,

I would normally agree with you however this isnt a revolving account nor were payment terms agreed. As of the first time it was reported Aug 2010, it was reported as a charge off. Nothing more, nothing less.

I laso just thought of something too, you stated that you have applied a few times over the past 4 months? Look at the denial letters you will be getting and look at the date they pull your credit report. They do not pull a new report every time you apply. If they are close together they will just use one that is recent and in their time window they consider a recent pull and deny you based off of an old report not always the most up to date one. I asked for an increase on Wal-Mart and Lowes the same day. Wal-Mart score was 6 points higher and new pull that day,....Lowes was 6 points lower and used a report from December of 2015.

Im starting to think my Discover card has better benefits than the Amazon Store Card. About to throw in the towel. I applied two times, once in November, and once two days ago.

Amazon has been a tough nut to crack lately. I can get approved with just about any Synchrony card but that Amazon keeps denying me. I'm scratching my head too.

I do not have any Synchrony accounts. I def dislike their CS, which speaks volumes about how they potentially handle customers complaints. When I call Comenity, I am greeted in a very professional manner everytime. I also return the kindness I receive.

Re: Synchrony Bank hates me for no reason

The denial letter states that I have too many high balance accounts (Meaning my student loans). Guess student loans plays a role. Also the Charge Off that is being paid was also mentioned. Only one baddie and they hold it to my head.

AAoA is 33 months, the oldest account that is positive is 12 years old (Cap 1 Bestbuy closed by me). The letter doesnt mention anything about limited credit history. Im just as confused as anyone about this. Im guessing its from my student loans (20K as of now). Only one baddie thats 6 years old (charge off) and I am paying on it monthly. It will be paid off next week.

Honestly I am at a loss on this one. I have $31k in student loans. I have heard they are strict on the 6-12 months of recent payment history without any issues. I know they do not always pull a fresh report when you apply. I can't get them raise my Lowes CL for anything though have raised my other cards very well......but they are also still using my CR for Lowes from Nov-Dec 2015 while the others are pulled in March of 2016.

The 6-12 month rule on good payments may be the reason afterall. All of my CC were open in January 2016, and my SL's are more than 18 months old so this could be the issue. Its just disturbing to see that I have higher TU of 70+ points than those getting qualified. Policies are policies and there is nothing I can do but wait and build a great payment history. I may try again in July or August.
