Synchrony accts won't allow CLI online

What won't my Synchrony accounts (Walmart and Amazon) allow me to do a CLI online? When I hit the luv button for either acct, this message pops up: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but we cannot process a credit line increase online for this account". Oh well, guess I'll have to call in and speak with a representative whenever I want try for an increase. Has anyone else experienced or heard of this?

That's what I'll have to do to apply for a credit increase. I'll call in another hour, or so. Was just wondering if it happened with anyone else. Thanks, Baller

Have you tried the chat option? That worked for me with both Amazon and Banana.

No Starky, I've never tried the chat option before. Is there a chat link to click on, like the luv button, and from there just ask for a CLI?

I get that message all the time.  Then when I call credit solutions I get to hear an almost identical denial read to me with an Indian accent.  It had some entertainment value the first couple times.  I have since given up.

I tried JCP every month for the last 4 months online.  It finally allowed me a CLI this month.  It must error when they are not allowing you a CLI.

That is the standard message. They will not give you a cli unless it has been 4 months since the last. I write down the dates of my synch card cli's. 

 

I have had sucess via chat though. That only worked once was TU score was over 700. Otherwise, it was always sorry we cant at this time. But 4 months like clock work on that button.

Yes once you log into Synchrony you see you chat button. Make sure to check during business hours Mon-Fri. YMMV of course but I was able to be approved for 4x my limits on both, even after being denied less than a week earlier through luv button. Good luck!

Ok, thanks you all. I've received CLI already, at different times, by calling on the phone and speaking with representatives. But I just wondered why that message always showed up and wouldn't allow me to do it online.
