That message means you are denied the CLI. A letter thru the mail will be forthcoming with the reasons why.
I have the Texaco Chevron MasterCard which recently became Synchrony and after 8 months since previous limit increase I am still not able to ask for another. I am going to wait until June/July when a full year has passed. Is this normal for Synchrony?
Shortly after Sync took over, all of our Ge/synch cards became unable to do the online CLI any longer. Calling also had no go. Good thing we dont have all our eggs in one basket. IMHO, I think it is part of the restructure, and after a time things will loosen up again.

Is this for real? I didn't know that this happened. I wonder if that's why I got denied a CLI after 8 mos. I'll still try again when I'm at 12 mos. but if I don't get one I will be very sad.
They used to do these CLI online and with a soft pull but now I just spoke to a representative over the phone that said they would have to do a hard pull in order to see if I qualify for an increase and that there's no guarantees.
I don't mind all of that but he was also very snarky and short with me, zero personality. It doesn't seem like it's the same customer service I've dealt with in the past but this is the first I call them since Chevron Texaco (GE) became Synchrony.
