Synchrony bank blacklist question?

I filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy about 22 months. I included about 4 synchrony credit cards. Every time I apply for a credit card they deny me saying bankruptcy. How long does synchrony bank blacklist for?

7-10 years for bankruptcy.

My timeline:

12/16: Filed BK7 (discharged 3/17) Included Synch Amazon Store Card.

1/18: Approved for Synch Lowes Card, $1k SL (currently @ $17k CL). I did close my $10k Lowes card just prior to filing BK.

1/19: Denied Amazon Store Card & PayPal Cashback Rewards MC. No hard pulls. Reason for both listed as previous unsatisfactory account with Synch.

2/19: Approved for PayPal Cashback Rewards MC, $6k SL.

So, my denials in Jan 2019 make it look like I was on a blacklist, yet if so, why did they approve me back in Jan 2018? It could be that they don't blacklist across the board on their cards. Selective blacklisting maybe? Like I said above, no logic. 

Which Synch cards were in your BK? Which Synch cards have you applied/denied for since? Did they hard pull you?

I’m having the same issue with the denials.  I think the wait time is 2 1/2 years.

Old Navy Visa, Ashley, Walmart, and Bp gas stations were included. I applied for Amazon, Paypal MC, Nissan, Old Navy, Walmart all denied. They did hard pull everytime I applied.

I think I read few post people getting back early. I think it depends on the amount.

Oh okay.  It will be 2 years for me next month.  I plan on applying for Amazon & Walmart because those are the only places I really shop at.  I’m scared to apply again because I was denied twice since filing due to Bankrutpcy.

I burned a sync Walmart card for about 1900 (filed 7/18, DC 10/18) and they SP denied me with the unsatisfactory history reason 8/19 (TU 670, EQ 700, EX 690). Walmart is capital one now I think. I get 5% back with discover this quarter for Amazon, but eventually would like to get the Amazon card. The 2.5 year waiting period will work since I'm gardening right now anyhow. I burned target for 2500 and they gave me 2000 around 6 months after bk.
