Synchrony big CLI available through chat?

Is requesting a CLI on BP MC through a chat session the same result as calling the credit solutions number? Or is the chat method someone hitting the same luv button available to us?

I don't know if it's the same but it's definately not the same as hitting the luv button. I always get denied via the luv button and have gotten two sizable CLIs via chat.

I had a Chevon, 76 and Walmart card for a year in 2013-14... never got a CLI that I requested.  I did get a whole $100 and $200 auto CLI on the Walmart card after 6 and 10 months or so.  Those accounts I closed at the end of 2014.

The only accounts I have with them now are $7500 Care Credit from 2013 and $2500 Sam's MC that I opened 3 months ago.  Never requested a CLI with Care Credit because it's a HP and I already have a nice limit.  Sam's I've tried a couple chat requests and have also been denied.

Can't explain it... perfect payment history for 2 years since BK13 discharge... and multiple accounts with prime limits.  They obviously don't like my BK13 because every denial is the same "public record on file" blah blah even though it's all 6+ years old and falls off in the coming months.  They weren't even included in the filing.

Like I said, they either love you or hate you.  Synchrony is the king of store cards and I don't have much use for those... but I would like to grow my Sam's MC although I'm pretty sure I'm stuck waiting till everything falls off my reports before they'll show me some love.

amen to the synch love/hate issue.  Fam member has lowes card and gets treated poorly.

I guess you are supposed to request 25k and let it counter. During the daytime, chat should be available. I got SP CLI on both amazon and sams.

I am new here but I was very frustrated with them recently called a back door number 3 times . Walmart 1100 to 4000 , jcp 700 to 5000 , smart connect 700 to 2500 . I had to call back each time and I even got the same rep for 2 . I just requested 5000$ and they countered on 2 of the three . Felt good to finally get some decent big boy limits . Hopefully some of my other cards will notice ! Good luck you , ymmv!!

I have two Sync cards - PayPal Extras and Lowes. Neither of their sites allows me to press a CLI button or live chat feature. Do I have to sign into Synchrony main website for the live chat feature? My Lowes card live chat button is grayed out.

Synchrony luv button is worthless.  I was approved for an Amazon card in March @ 1200, got an auto luv CLI to 1500.  I routinely would check the LUV button and get denied.  I got brave and tried chat once, asked for a CLI to 5000 and was approved.  It was also only a SP!  5k on Amazon should be plenty

The number I called was 18004800205. The cli button was not doing me anything nor was chat . Call em . What's the worst that happens is what I said they say no ? And in my case the said yes .
