I learned something new when I used the chat feature to get a CLI on my Walmart card tonight. This is part of the conversation -

This was the first time that I've heard of that. I didn't shoot for the stars with this one. Had a CL of $13K and asked for $15K. I just wanted to break the $100K mark. That was approved.

That's interesting. I've only made requests via phone and my Lowe's is over 10k so I didn't know this. Oddly enough, when I requested a CLI on JCPenney, the representative said I needed to talk to the supervisor. I was transferred and the gentlemen asked the standard questions and quickly approved it. I was only asking for $5k, though.

It was my Walmart card. I've received a message to call credit solutions in the last. It might have been the last time my Walmart received an increase. The card went from $10K to $13K that time and from $6K to $10k before that. I thought it was just part of the process but this was the first time that the representitive worded it like that so I asked what he meant.
I wonder if that is why all my store cards over 10K say "We apologize for the inconvenience, but we cannot process a credit line increase online for this account." When I hit the LUV button?

I had to fax them proof of income in order to get over $25K limit. Then they gave me $25,400...
This was for a CLI on the Marvel card. I did call for the CLI so didn't know about the chat limit.
