TD application - in bank?

Anyone know whether, if I popped into a TD branch, they could advise me (prior to a hard pull) if I qualify for its Cash card?

If you currently bank with them, yes, the teller can see if you are preapproaved. Otherwise, you'll need to apply.

I have the card - approved for Signature Cash with a $6300 CL with less than 1 month revolving credit history (only a secured card) and 754 EX FICO at the time - also a high DTI due to student loan debt and only working part time as a Grad student - but I have been a customer of theirs for 6 years.

They have a reputation of being conservative but they seem pretty generous (IME) to those with an existing relationship.

Also, I love the card (more than my amex BCE actually). Reward points are credited instantly, there is no minimum for withdrawal- statement credit, check, or transfer to bank account, and rewards don't expire.

As long as you bank with them, they should be able to let you know.

I agree that the rewards are easier to access than BCE, but I'm pretty sure there is a $25 redemption minimum

Fuzzle: You might be right about that. Everytime I've redeemed it's been for over $50, so never paid much attention... but I seem to remember reading there was no minimum. I could certainly be mistaken and if so, my apologies for the inaccurate info.

Re: TD application - in bank?

Yes, if you bank with them. Chase did that with me. I was sitting down to do something with one of reps and when they pulled up my info, he said "by the way, you're pre-approved for the Chase Slate"
So, yes, if you have an account with them, they should be able to.
