TJ Maxx Rewards Card Frustration

Hi Everyone,

I recently applied a bunch of store cards for my soon gardern plan. I got walmart store card at $800, Amazon store card at $800, Paypal connect at $500 and Target RedCard at $500. But the one I wanted most is the TJ Maxx Rewards Card since I am a big fun of Marshalls and Home Goods.

I applied last month and it was denied. I applied yesterday but still got the 7-10 days message. I was wondering my chance of getting it....

So for anyone already having this card, what was your credit score when you applied? Should I call their back door number?

Currently my FICO scores are all around 635.

From my experience about synchrony is that the 7-10 day message not always a denial in their case unless they say so at times. Just call them it could be two things 1) a denial or 2) verification since you have done a lot of apping and their system went into fraud protection incase that isn't you apping.

I would call them up and see what is going on with you application.  More than likely it is verification.  I have only been denied for Toy'srus and Lowes.  All my other applications have been approved.

I have Walmart and Amazon and apped for TJ Maxx in February - denied. 

My scores haven't really changed much but last week I was in store and apped and was approved. I'm mad it cost me 2 HP because I'd seen others suggest apping for the TJX Rewards instore.

I apped for this a couple weeks ago and was approved with a SL of $250. My credit score was 662, but I know it had to actually be a lot lower. It had dropped big time, as I apped for 3 cards, JC Penney, TJX Rewareds and Old Navy and was approved for all three of them. I also was declined by Lowes, Sams Club, AmEx, and Blispay.  I am done applying for anything now I am gardening until the end of the year.
