Just wanting to make sure when asking for a CLI from Target is it still a SP? Like when i asked last year they just updated my income and gave me another $200 but want to make sure its still a SP if any pull that is.

Hi Skye:  I only just called in to be put on their "monthly review list."  I should have asked if that "review" is hp or sp, but regardless, there has been no inquiry yet.  I'm not sure when they do these "reviews."  Fingers crossed on it being an SP.

Re: Target CLI

For some reason I stated off with a high limit with tthem.  Haven't received an increase in the 2+ years that I've had the card.  I wonder if it's worth requesting an increase?

I saw your limit:  $3000?!  Nice work there!  There is a review process by which you have to call in to the CSR number, and tell them you want to be put on the monthly review list.  I was never told if it was an SP or HP, but the rep. did say it would take about 30 days for the review to be completed and that some type of notification would be sent out. You've got a wonderful CL, but if you've been there for awhile, I can certainly understand why you'd want to see some upward movement!   Best wishes!

That is an amazing feat!!! 3k is an awesome limit from Target. I have been stuck at the same limit for nearly a decade!! I just took advice up here and contacted them with my income to be included in a monthly review. I will make some small purchases after my statement drops to see if that helps any.

It's a SP.  They just put one through for me after I requested they put me in the CLI monthly review thing.

Re: Target CLI

I wish I could take credit for getting a $3000. opening limit from Target but I have no clue how or why it happened. It was during my first app spree when I started rebuilding in 2012. it was by far my highest limit when I got the card and the last one in the spree. I did it at the customer service desk.

Thanks for the information!!! I forgot to ask too. I think I was shocked when I called and they told me that I needed to be put on a list. It was unexpected. I was told the review process is taking 3-5 months now. Since it's going to take so long, I asked for a 10K CLI. I love Target!!! Quality products at a good price.
