Do you shop at Target?  If so, do you have a card giving you more than 5%?

That sucks that it didn't come through. Part of it may be the age of the account though. Many of us, myself included, saw no increases for up to three years after opening our accounts. It may simply be a factor of time.

Or 14 in my case, not that I'm bitter about it. 😂

Re: Target RedCard CLI's and CLD's

I got an email today that Target issued a CLD! Smiley Frustrated  I had the RedCard since 2014 with a limit of $1500. They dropped me to $500.  Oh well.  I don't really use it much.  Probably end up closing it. Just surprising!

Re: Target RedCard CLI's and CLD's

I got my REDcard 2/21/2020 with a decent limit ($2.5k). My income has doubled, I update it monthly, my score has increased about 10 points, but I don't use it very heavily. I haven't seen any movement yet.

I think they may be in a holding pattern. I've been thirsty for more data points as well

Were you calling in regards to a non-MasterCard REDcard?

I've seen a few DP about increases during the pandemic, but they seem to be MasterCard REDcard increases.

I'm just trying to square the two things that I've been reading.

No increase for this month, but that's fine with me.  Maybe next month or the coming months.

There have been recent CLI for both store card and MC versions.

I started with your limit in 2018, it took 20 months for first CLI. It was bumped to 9k and MC upgrade.

Re: Target RedCard CLI's and CLD's

I've had my RC for about 2 years. Had it tucked away in a drawer with no action for about 9-10 mos when I got a notice saying they were going to close it if it wasn't going to be used. Since I was still rebuilding, I didn't want to take a hit on my AAoA so off I went to spend, let a small balance report, and then PIF'd. About 3 mos later, they doubled my dinky SL of $300. Kept the action up and kept updating my income too. Not on any train because I've seen nothing since. They must have forgotten me at the station. Smiley LOL
