Target does NOT reconsider?

So am I correct when I say that Target does NOT have a reconsideration process in place for their applications? I got declined due to too many recent inquiries! :-(

I asked him if they can review my information make sure its correct. He said nothing can be done... In my head I thought "What the hell does your dept do then?"

Oh well.

Good question, but I think you're better off without this card - if you shop Target and want the 5% discount w/Redcard get the Redcard debit linked to your checking account. I'm not a regular Target shopper but was in a store a couple years ago & the cashier pushed me to app for the CC as they were giving a 10% discount on the purchase in addition to the 5% Redcard discount. I was approved for a $1k CL with scores then in your range (but 0 inquiries). Didn't use the card for 6 mos so they lowered the CL to $200 for "inactivity". I made a couple online purchases, called in and was told my CL would be "marked for review". Several month went by, still at $200 CL, so I called & closed it, glad I did.

I keep a running list of denials and re-app when the items they stated were "the issue" are resolved or eliminated. So re-apply when all your HP's fall off. I didnt know they were inquiry sensitive!

Considering Target's data breach BF 2013, no way in HADES am I giving them access to my bank account ever again.

Hard to think Target would be lke that?  Sorry to hear but you will probably be glad that you didn't get their card down the road.

Ill get to the punch....TD Banks SUCKS!!!!!!! They are stingy with approvals for a stupid store card for a $100 limit, and even more conservative, and stingy when it comes to CLI.

Im NOT happy they are taking over all the Nordstroms credit card portfolio now...They are gonna have a lot of angry cardholders on there hands very shortly. BAD move of Mr. Nordstrom to let this bank have their portfolio Im bitter, can you tell??

I agree Pizza.  TD Bank is way too strict and frankly nothing they offer impresses me.
