So I was recently approved for a lease and though it has not reported .. yet.. I have offers in my Chase account. My scores are wayyy better than when I opened my Marriott Bonvoy back in Nov... I have not gotten lucky with any auto CLIs from Chase.
Would it be a terrible idea to apply for Chase before the Auto lease shows on my reports? I realllyyy want my goal card and now it is just there in my offers waiting lol
So yeah tell me it's a bad idea. Give me the worst case scenario
Worst case scenario:

Worst case scenario - They do an AR on you and shut down your accounts...
Likelyhood? Depends. Where do you stand on 5/24? like how many of your accounts are new within the last 24 months?

It is not an outright terrible idea.
May be good or may be bad... but not outright terrible from the information you have provided.
What is the goal card?
Worst case scenario from Chase perspective of what Chase can do, they grant you the goal card, lowering your average age of accounts, then lease reports so they decide to then close the recently opened goal card AND the Disney card.
But what you have described is not the case of getting a Chase while being 4/24 then immediately going on a revolving credit app spree.
When you say lease was approved, do you mean you have taken delivery of the car?
If so when?
True worst case scenario would be lease does not get funded, hard pulls from Chase frighten lender, and that lease does not happen.
Edit: It is absolutely true that credit underwriting has tightened, but it is also absolutely true that new credit is being granted.
The people most impacted by stricter credit underwriting are those accounts and applications seen as marginal.
If your application is marginal then proceed with caution but otherwise may be no issue.
What does auto lease have to do with apps/approvals for revolving accounts?
They aren't even included in 5/24 calculations
Your worst case scenario..there isnt one.
A new lease might impact your scores, but Chase is not heavily focused on those.
If you have a preapproval, and that's your goal card, go for it.
Nothing is going to happen to your card because of auto lease.
