I have always been curious of the Venture, it's the only card I have ever been denied for back in my app spree of September 2015. Recently I got my first prequal for the Venture and I am on the fence about it. It would be great to add some diversity to my lenders, I currently have 10 cards with 5 lenders, Discover, Amex, BofA, Chase and Citi, is that good diversity? I am also very well covered on the travel card area since I PC'd my CSP to CSR, thoughts?
What is your TU 4 score look like? Typically (not definite) when you get a pre-qual from their site it's an approval. Do you have any other cards with $5k+ limits?

Yep, my BofA is 25k, United Club 15k, CSR 10k. My TU Bankcard score 4 is 673 and regular FICO is 722.

Is your United card the CLUB or Explorer card?
The Club
Guessing you would get a 20k approval based on other cards you have and the limits if you went for venture.. Obviously factors such as income etc come into play. Co-worker with a 750ish score and fairly low limit cards got a 30k approvall last week. He just closed on a house so helped him get 3 CC's... CSP(he didnt want to pay the AF for the CSR), Fidelity and Venture.
