I'm sorry to hear this, AJC. I hate to see lenders not give a chance to people who are responsible for their credit use and conduct their business in the right way. That's simply wrong.

Is PenFed worth the hassle? Looks like not.
I personally love PenFed they are my main financial Institution.. With that said every lender doesnt work for everyone such as Langley likes AJC, but not so much me as was turned down about 5 months back with a 790 EQ they pulled and higher side income, but most likely new to them and alot of recent credit turned them off for me. I put a small direct deposit into checking each month to let them think about it. I get a few emails a week now about their CC, but don't feel like taking a EQ hit to find out if they are serious or not
