That's funny. I didn't qualify for a rate decrease at this time and that was it! I better check my SL, to make sure it doesn't go down...
I will add some data points, and hopefully they will be useful and possibly encouraging.
Approved 10/2015, $2000(first or 2nd card of my rebuild).
Ive tried the lower APR route at least 2-3 times prior to the most recent, possibly getting a reduction once or twice, but no CLI.
On 6/9/2017, I called in and asked for an APR reduction, and got one of 4%. To answer Mowglidude, they then offered the CLI without me having to ask. (I was pleased to see I had actually written that down in the credit log file I started to keep that night). They did ask income at this point.
Now the increase was a rather paltry $1000, but coming from a paltry $2000 for a total of $3000, I suppose it's ok(from other things Ive read and my own feeling, I think my next one could be substantially more). It also shows that as recently as 6/9/2017, the SP CLIs were still in effect, without as much as even having to ask for one. I hope someone finds this useful.
