So I got my denial letter for my 61 day increase Smiley Sad

Reasons for denial:

1. Fico socre of 692

2. Length of time I've been an AMEX customer

3. Derogatory public record on file (bk from 2006)

4. Too many inquiries

So, my next question is do I have to wait 90 days or wait until the account is 90 days old?

91 days after you were denied. (Meaning wait 90 days, then the day after, you become

eligible)

Re: The Definitive Amex 3X CLI Guide Discussion Thread

I just submitted 61 day CLI request on Delta Platinum.  It was originally approved on 8/13/14 for a crappy $1,100 limit.  I reallocated $2k from my BCE to give it a more useful limit (even after complaining Amex didn't see an issue).

I made the bonus spend plus $200 in additional charges, paid off the balance in full yesterday.  Submitted request today and got 7-10 day response (always a denial for me with Amex).  They don't like my other new accts, but my total utilization is 6%.  I might just close BCE and move whatever limit to Delta Platinum.  For $195 AF they've made it a useless card, I would have preferred a straight up denial.

Side note, I'm planning to close PRG in 2 weeks.  I've had it for two years, Amex never honored the sign up bonus and they have no available upgrade bonus.  So I'll be down to Amex Surpass and Delta Platinum shortly.

As baller showed me. I wonder if that approval date is 61 days it states account opening. Mine says oct 8th. Even I was approved oct 7. I wonder if you did it a day early?

That's the date listed on my Transunion Report.  I checked Amex application status and it says 8/12/14, but even going by 8/13 that should be 62 days.  I guess I'll see what the letter says.

Yeah I forgot to check.  I have my credit card spreadsheet and one of the tabs is all denials and dates.  I forgot to check it first, I won't make the mistake again.  Did I reset the 91 day clock?

Yes I've added a lot of new accounts.  BoA Virgin Atlantic (which was 50/50 new credit + reallocation), Macy's (only store acct has reported), Nasa, Penfed and Dillards just reported.  Amex will probably FR me lol.
