Tomorrow is the big day. Might not do it until Monday though
From what I understand, it's no longer an instant denial if you ask for more than 3x. They will counter. If you qualify for 3x, that is the max you'll get.The 28th is my 62nd day on my ED. I wonder if my CLI from July on my BSP will affect it.
Thought Lexie said earlier in thread only ine cli per 180 day period, they count all products under same account. Maybe search the thread? Or better yet, search google, then bring up myfico forums.
Yep, that is correct. One CLI, per 180 days across all accounts.

Oh, you know you'll hear about it whether I got the CLI or not
I was STUNNED to just get an initial $8,900 CL from Amex Blue Everyday card!!! I've only recently (about 6 months ago) resoucitated my old Amex Green card, and got them to backdate it to 1980 (yayy-- really helped my AAofA!), and my next-highest CL is only $5,000, and that just happened yesterday when CapOne increased my CL from $3k to $5k.
My credit scores are all 690 - 715.
Can I REALLY expect Amex to increase my CL to $26,700 (and I would probably ask for $24,000 to keep it under the $25k everyone keeps recommending) in just 60 days???

Just ask for smooth 25k. On your request 15.100 to bring you up. You will be golden. I think people verb low how hard amex is.

16.100 is what you will be asking on your increase. Sorry. That will put you at 25k. The 8900 you have plus the 16.100. They will counter. Decline or deny either way.

So, um..
It hasn't changed.
Gotta wait till Jan 2nd.
So I submitted my first Amex CLI request in May, and my 180 days would have been up in November. However, a few days ago Amex auto-CLI'd me a $4,500 increase.
Does this reset the 180-day limit, or does that limit only apply to customer-initated CLI requests?
