@Anonymous wrote:Is there any sort of data out there on how the 61+ day CLI compares to the following one (241+ days from account origination) 180 days after? With the first CLI potentially yielding a 3X increase, I'm sort of assuming the following CLI 6 months later would be significantly less but would like to hear from anyone that has had experience with both.
For example, I don't think someone that gets a 3X CLI at 61+ days that takes their SL from $5k to $15k would ever have a chance at $45k 6 months later... that would be pretty ridiculous! I would anticipate there being some kind of balance... that is if the first CLI is big (3X CLI) then the second perhaps is smaller... or conversely if the first CLI is small, perhaps the second "could" produce a 3X CLI? Any data points out there from Amex cardholders on this?
My SL was 3500 and I got my 3X for 10,500 in 61 days. 6 months later I wanted to try 3X again, but I decided to ask for $500 short of 3X and was approved for 31K. I'm not sure if that counts as 3X, but it's darn close at 2.95X

Rounding up, I see that as a PAIR of 3X CLIs which is quite impressive. Good to know that this is at least a possibility with Amex. How did your profile (and score) change over those 8 months from the time you got your card until you received the second near-3X CLI? I'd assume it improved a decent amount during that time?
I got my card a couple of months ago and had a SL of 2000.00. I love this Cash card for grocery is the only one I use. Anyway tried the X3 today (61st day) they countered at 4000.00 which I am happy with for sure. Just FYI.
Do I wait and use it for 6 months now before asking again?
Thanks
