Hey guys,
Just want to make sure. My Gold Delta card approval date was 8/2/17. I would wait till tomorrow to request a CLI correct?
TIA.
The 61st day is today because there are 31 days in August, even if you pull the trigger one day early it will not reset the clock. Good luck.

Went for it today and got the 7-10 day message. Sucks. I've put about $1,000 or so the past two months and PIF. Scores are still about the same.
I actually just called and they said I need to wait 90 days. Too many inquiries within 12 months. (I have 10).

@Anonymous wrote:The interesting thing is Amex seems to think of all your accounts as one. I got The BCE and asked for 3x CLI at 5 weeks and was approved. Got SPG a month later and asked for a CLI the day it came in the mail and they said I could not get an increase as I had another card with CLI in last 6 months. I got the PRG a couple weeks before the BCE so I wonder if that is reason they gave me CLI on BCE at 5 weeks. Consider them the same card for increases.
They do CLI's on one card per account per 180 days, regardless how many cards you have. Your acquisition of the PRG had no bearing on your not getting the other CLI. You now have to wait 180 days from the last CLI to ask for one on the SPG.
No you are misunderstanding me I said my CLI after 5 weeks if probably due to me getting PRG a few weeks before or maybe because I have had a corporate card since 2009. They didn't see my account as 5 weeks old.
Your experience with the corporate card may have some bearing; I doubt the PRG has any effect, positive or negative. There are certainly reports of lots of people receiving CLIs earlier than 61 days, though typically the success rate is much higher at 61. Some people are even able to get their first CLI at activation, and while there’s no way to verify it, I bet you would have been of those people. You are correct that they consider all of your cards to be one account, and the rule really is “at least 180 days between credit line increases among all of your accounts.” So congrats, and go for that 3X SPG CLI 181 days after the BCE CLI was granted!
Been waiting to try this for a long time! My utilization has been quite high (~90%) until last month (about ~32% currently)
Didn't want to push it, since my FICOs aren't as great as they once were. EQ: 684, TU: 692, EX: 697.
First went over to Discover and requested a CLI - Approved for up to $500... I'll take it.
Then came over to AMEX. Was a bit hesitant to give it a try since my current AMEX balances are quite high (although 0 remaining statement balance - been paying in full). Requested an increase from 4K to 10K on my AMEX EveryDay.
Approved!
Looking forward to the nice bump in my scores as a result of the lower utilization!
Success today on my first Amex 3x!

Thanks! Also just got a pleasant suprise. Got an email from Discover and it seems that after granting me a sp cli of $500 ($3700 -> $4200), they've decided to increase my credit line even further to $6000 - so $3000 total!
