There's another discussion here about auto-CLIs(can't seem to find it now) regarding people being declined at 61 days but, shortly thereafter receiving an auto increase. Sometimes it's tough to figure the UWs decisions...wacky!
Successful 3x CLI today. My income to available credit is a bit low, but AmEx didn't seem bothered
Got 7-10 day message today on 3x attempt
Account created on 10/30, verified by checking "Member since" when I first opened the account and also asked the rep. I was reading post about people pulling early and then getting the 7-10 day message and when they did it the next day it worked. I tried to submit it yesterday a day early and got the 7-10, I tried again this morning and got the same message, today would of been my 61day. I have about 50% util on this card though so im thinking that's what did me in for possible denial
I just tried & got the 7-10 day message too.
According to my credit report this was opened on Oct. 30th so I think today is the 61st day. I've used the card often, made multiple payments, & right now I only owe $32 on it (& sent a payment for that yesterday that hasn't posted yet). My other Amex has a balance of about $600 (again, sent payment yesterday from bank to pay in full & hasn't posted yet).
So frustrated, this isn't how I wanted to end the year.

Same, I have a PRG and an Everday prefferred, I made 2k payments to each card early last week too! I was not expecting the 7-10, I think mine was due to opening up about 5 other cards since i got the EDP and the 50+ util, please report back if you hear from them. I did mine at 5AM MST and still no email or credilt limit change on the site, wonderinf f i should hit them up via chat
Same with me. I've opened up several (probably more than I needed) cards since I got this one, but I've made multiple payments on them all, kept my utilization down & my score has increased (not a lot, but some) since I got the AMEX. If you try chat or calling, keep us posted what happens. If you have any luck maybe I'll try that too. Otherwise I guess I'll sit on pins & needles & wait to see what happens.

Just finished a chat sesssion with them, they told me it was declined and if i need more information I would have to contact the credit limit increase dept.
Ugh, bummer. So, did they tell you when you can try again? Is it 90 days?
Since I have zero patience I think I'm going to try calling. Worst they can say is no, right? lol

Over the past 4 years, I have periodically asked for CLI, going from 1.5K to 25K. On my second to last attempt, I did a CLI from 10K to 20K, given my excellent track record (no late payments, paid in full everytime). I got a letter saying that it was declined - did some recon, told me it was due to my salary and credit score/history (nothing bad, just not enough of it lol). Anyways, tried again few months later, thinking at least 6 months have passed, to get rejected again, but auto-denied based upon the timing. Forgot about it until a few months later, I got an auto-CLI to 16K! Afterwards, I waited about a year and a half then pulled the trigger again for 25K, which was instantly approved. Moral of the story - don't lose hope! I don't know if Amex keeps track/pays attention to CLIs, but in my case, I felt like they "threw me a bone" lol with the auto-CLI after the two denied CLI and continuous good track record.
Well, I tried calling & they told me I was declined too but he was going to submit it for a manual review & I should know something in 24-48 hrs. I'm going to try to not get discouraged. I'm stil kind of new to rebuilding my credit & I'm kind of surprised they gave me one (let alone, two) so I'm going to just keep using it responsibly & hopefully if this one doesn't work out I'll have better luck in a few months.
