Greetings, all.
Been on the 90 day CLI train with Discover but tried last night for a 60 day CLI through the mobile app and got the “request under review/2 business days/there’s nothing you need to do at this time” song and dance. I started at 5k, received a 1k increase after three months, and every 90 days since it’s risen $500 to 7k.
Any ideas on whether this is a rejection or a substantial increase? I’m carrying a zero balance on my IT card, always pay it in full, and:
Fico8’s around 715-725
AAoA - 1 year
5 HQ’s over the last year
Utilization - 7%
Zero lates
I know Disco can be about as stable as the Joker on meth regarding approvals and denials but I’m curious what others have experienced.
All of my "under reviews" seem to yield only $500 increases. Curious how you make out.

When i was on my 1st go around with Discover i went almost a whole year never seeing that message. When i got it, yup, denied, well ,they wanted to see my Equifax which was weird as it was frozen but never saw that reason for a sp cli request with Discover before. Best of luck though
Interesting, any more DPs on this?
Most of my largest increases come after receiving that message.
Discover 2 day = manual review.... i.e someone physically looks at your account and such
Most of my CLI requests with Discover used to get the 2 day notice... and either a 4 digit CLI or no soup for you... Of course YCMV ...
Now I hear they give out consolation prizes (the SJ special at 300, and the AJC special at 500)...in addition to the no soup for you
Good luck
