The one year rebuild is over - how long should I garden

My goal is to get an Amex revolver and a card with Citi.  How long should I garden with them?  There issue with me presently is inquiries.  One year or two?  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What does your credit profile look like?  Any baddies?  Scores?  Number of inquries?  How recent are your inquiries?

A ton of inquiries over the last year during my rebuild.  No baddies.  Scores are in the 670 range.

Try 6 months and app for both. If declined, another 6 months and app.

November or December for AMEX.

Minimum 6mos for Citi from last app with all those inquiries.
