Hey guys.
It's been almost a year since my last credit card application and my score is now ranges from 747-756 from all three.
and I saw an offer in my chase online and it was the bonvoy boundless 100k
I know i won't qualify for the bonus but my current marriott cards have very low limits. just barely enough. Since this is an offer, I was pretty sure I'm gonna get approved and since it's a visa sig, at least $5000. So this card may ease the strain I put on my amex bonvoy cards.
besides, I have a huge trip coming up for christmas and like I said, strain on amex cards = high balance.
plus, 95$ for annual free night is a no brainer.
One thing, I moved to Canada so on my chase accounts’ addresses listed are Canadian Addresses. I think this may be the cause.
Last time I did an application from "Your Offers", I did 2 of the offers on the same day-ish, and both approved.
so what do you guys think?
Is there a number I can call?
Thanks
So what usaully happends
Edit/update: I almost forgot I am OVER 5/24. I just heard that chase now kind of is starting to ignore this so since then I just kind of feel like “yeah now I can ignore this too and apply for whatever the h*ll I Want with chase.” And when I had “your offers” before and I got approved I was also over 5/24 but that time I also had “selected for you”.
You could call automated line and check but I would not do that.
The message you got means exactly what it said, additional review is required. It could be identity verification, application review, or both.
I would not call because last thing you want to do is either be told wrong info by frontline CSR, or even worse, be transferred to UW, in which case you may rush their decision. If put on the spot, you may get a Nope due to your 5/24 status. Let them do their job at their own pace.
Should they need anything from you, letter will be mailed with instructions.
If you feel like calling is what you should do 800-338-5960 (google is your friend)
