So I called credit solutions to ask for a CLI on my walmart store card.
They asked me to remove my security freeze on transunion but gaurentee it will be a SOFT PULL.
Is this correct before I call back and request again?

They are not telling you the truth. If it is a softpull, they should be able to get access to your report even if it is on ice. Methinks this will be a hardpull...
Every Walmart CLI request I put in was a SP... but I've never frozen my reports.

I'm sorry, but that's not correct in regards to this lender. I had this same experience last week. Synchrony will not SP through a freeze, even if the provisions allow for it.
I unfroze my TU and went from $1,200 to $3,500.

Thats interesting as my lowes is through though Synchrony. When I asked to have my lowes card increased, she said they need to pull a report and mind you mine is also on ice.. Waited and came back with positive news. Never asking me to remove freezes.
Same with Amazon, they always ask me to remove freeze.
They lied to you. This is not correct. Credit Solution will be making a hard inquiry because it will not be a promotional offer to you.
And I should believe the member above with "1" post.
It was a soft pull. Ive called credit solutions in the past and had the same success I had today via a soft pull.
