This is due to the “internal factors” as stated in the answer above. 9:03:49 PM : Sheryl: I suggest that you contact the major credit reporting agencies for this matter. ????? 9:04:52 PM : Sheryl: Would you still like to proceed with the request?I declined the "proceed". Anyone else run into this? |
Its always a SP with Sync, except Care Credit which is a HP.
That's what I thought. My previous requests went right to how much, and what is your net income and they made an offer.
Ive had it where they have told there would be a INQ, and all that stuff, its always a SP.
that is some new wording from them though. i have never heard them say it may result in an inquiry on your credit report, that is new!
usually they say something, please be aware this approval is contingent based on your credit report. not that they are going to pull an inquiry. id close that chat and ask another rep.
just say help with credit limit increase. dont give them too much of why or anything, just for your own sake and quickness.
Thanks willwar, and dd. Spooked me a little bit when I saw it. All is not lost though, got a $4K Cli from BoA tonight!

+1. Most chat reps don't know anything about HP and SP and Synchrony is always a SP (except for Care Credit, as another poster noted above).
I got a little spooked when ive had reps say that, ive had them say that on chat and calling credit solutions, always a SP.
