Thinking about swapping my SW card for a Sapphire card.

Has anyone done this. I was thinking about calling chase and asking to upgrade my card. Should just apply for the sapphire card or ask for the “upgrade” ?

They wont upgrade from a cobranded card to a core chase card.. Would have to be a whole new application, plus you would get the bonus as well.. Just don't apply if you are over 5/24 (5 new credit accounts in the last 24 months) or it will be auto declined.

Also make sure you move your CL to the new card before you close the old one out if you do not plan to have both!
