Card I want: CSP!
What should I do? I have 15K funds with Chase in checking+saving, Scores right now: 703 TU (3 inq), 736 EQ (1 inq) and 715 EX(2 inq)
No inquiries since August 2014 when Chase pulled TU and EQ.
Need your help!
Any other cards that I should try? What are my odds for CSP?
@Programmerguy,
Check Chase website and see if you are pre-approved. If you are you should be fine. If not, I think you should apply for it regardless. You have a history and a relationship with them. Keep us posted if you apply.

No prequal's on the Chase website
I've heard that Chase likes to see cards in the 5K range when you want to apply for CSP, the best I have is that Freedom at $1200, is it a long shot?

Go for CSP either way. I think you could get it easily without a hitch.
It's the closest card I've ever gotten with Chase that has resembled an instant approval for me besides the Ritz.

Not really.. That is a myth. You should be fine. They base approvals on their internal score, your credit profile etc.. If you have had the Freedom for a while and have been good with it, I will apply. Give it a shot. You have nothing to lose.... Report back if it goes to pending and then we can plan a strategy for recon. Now, Lets go..

I'm definitely going to try soon. I'm planning on going into the branch and have the banker apply for me, if it gets denied, I can ask them to request a recon and talk about the relationship with Chase and funds with them, maybe that'll help a bit!

That is also a good idea....
Go for both, plus like a previous poster said, go for the 2 for 1 amex and get a revolver. Then when it shows up ask for a 3x CLI.
I think I'll try the CSP before the Amex cards. I really want that CSP to make that Freedom + CSP combo!
