Re: Time to try for Wal-Mart again?

Im sorry Smiley Sad I would definitely call.....when I applied on 9/16 I was given the 7-10 day message and I called and was told I was denied. I have yet received a letter from them and that was almost 2 months ago. When I applied again on 10/13 and when I called I just asked the status of my app and all the lady said was denied nothing else. After not seeing the hard pull I called back and said my app wasnt going through online and I was calling to see why...thats when I got some answers so maybe when you call just say your app isnt going through and you wanted to see why...that way they have to look more into it then just saying "denied" crossing my fingers for you! Hoping for that approval!

Right... I still haven't gotten anything in the mail re: my app--interestingly enough, I applied for an Amazon store card at the same time, got the 7-10 day message, already received a letter stating further verification was needed... Called in, got approved. Seems strange that all that would already happen with the Amazon card, but still nothing re: Wal-Mart.

I did call in and was told I was denied. But that's it.

Re: Time to try for Wal-Mart again?

I applied three times in the last 2.5 years and was finally approved yesterday for the Walmart card.  I was approved earlier in the day for Amazon first.  These were both my first and second approvals with Synchrony/GE .

I read everywhere they mainly pull TU but I noticed on my alerts that they pulled TU for my Amazon early in the day and when I applied for Walmart they pulled Experian.  I don't know if that was because I applied for two of their accounts in one day.

I hope you end up getting the approval!!!!!!
