Tips for making Overstock SCT reappear?

I attempted to do it last night, and got it to pop up on the very first try. I got a little nervous when it asked for full SSN, so I came on here to research and confirm it was a SP only. Since then, I've been unable to get the preapproval to reappear. I've tried using different computers, private browsing windows, logging in and out, deleting/re-adding my name/address. Still no luck.

Is it just completely random or is it possibly on some kind of timer where it only appears once a day or something? Am I wasting my time trying to get it to reappear so soon? I never declined the offer. I started to complete it and simply closed the window.

Re: Tips for making Overstock SCT reappear?

To answer my own question (in case anyone comes across this thread while searching)...

I was able to get it to pop up again on the first try by opening a private/incognito window, adding some stuff to my cart, checking out as a guest (even though I already made a login), and then entering in my name/address in the guest checkout. Immediately after I input my info, the preapproval screen popped up. When I clicked I'm Interested, I was able to log in to my existing Overstock.com account to complete the app.

Congrats so you were approved via sct? They ask for full social but it's still a soft pull. I usually use chrome but safari has been working for me 2.

if it was a true SCT and you backed out, you probably will get a letter in the mail with a preapproval code. Not sure if its still soft pull if you go thru with it from there online, but its a good sign. Lenovo and someone else sent me the letters.

I called their credti department as I also get the popup.  They told me depending, it can be either a soft or a hard pull, but couldn't tell me what criteria is used...
