Would it help if they tried a 2x, or 1x or, has the clock reset?

I have no clue what is going on. I thought I would get a 3x cli too but they did not. Amex is not like what it used to be. How long have you had the card? 2 months? Technically you could have requested one at card activation. I am thinking maybe you did and dont remember, or the rep did and didnt tell you?

Get on chat and ask the date of your last cli request, I dont know if they can go back to one before that. I bet anything you did one at account opening. I did and forgot as well. Was a casual thing with the rep discussing limits and I think he said it was allowed, then I forgot later on!  Which for you that is great, means the clock is still going and in 30 days you can try!

My 3xcli went thru on day 62.

Did you count your days right?

i know others said the 60day deal was dead but I did it by the book and it worked

Gave it a shot. Unfortunately I got the reply that my account had to be 90 days to qualify. Did the timeframe change from 61?

Sorry to hear about that, it is odd. Could you provide more data about your cards?

You have a Delta SkyMiles card in your siggy also. What month/year did you get that card?

Have you ever asked for a CLI on the Delta card?

What is the limit on your Delta card, and what is the limit on your ED?

Re: Tomorrow I attempt my first Amex CLI - How did you do it?

Hey sorry took a trip for the weekend and didn't have internet with me. my Delta card is 6k limit and I got it on July 3rd (starting date confirmed with Amex) and the Everyday card was opened on September 5th (also confirmed with Amex). It's limit is only 2k which is why I had waited to ask for the increase on it.

The math for 61 days checks out but maybe I should wait a week and try again? I dont think that will annoy Amex will it? lol
