I got the 7-10 day status. No inq yet.
I read on here you can set up online access somehow and it will tell you if you have available credit. Like a back door way to check for an approval. How do I do that. When I tried to register it needs a CC number. I searched and googled but can't find anything.
Thanks
They removed that way to see if you were approved about a year ago by setting up an account on their webiste through SSN, etc.. So you just got to see if it is a verification letter or a denial
Also you have to make sure EQ/EXP are BOTH unfroozen fi they were at all.. As they SP one and HP another. People have been denied for having one or the other froozen due to SP/HP method of both CRA's

My eX is frozen. Didn't know that. Wonder what I should do. Thanks for letting me know
Yep will be a denial then as most likely they wanted HP on Exp And SP on EQ.. This was the case on my TR visa although I had both open.. Sometimes they go for Eq and sometimes they go for Exp for HP and SP other one.
Assuming letter is denial you will have to reapply after 30 days as commenity doesn't recon and have both unfroozen.

Strange thing is I didn't get a hp alert from myFICO on any of the 3 cra's. I did get a Thanks for applying and 7-10 day screen so I know it took. They have always pulled EQ for me in the past and only EQ.... but this is my first Visa/MC from Comenity.
Hoping it is a verification thing. If they pulled EQ I should get it. If they needed EX I won't. Probably won't apply again either. I'm not going to unfreeze EX for this card. It cost me $10 each time. Maybe if I unfreeze for some other card I will do this card too. We will see what happens. Maybe I'll call them in the morning and ask for the status.
@Anonymous @Curiousify for the info. I appreciate it.
Ya it depends on the card and whether comentiy bank or comedity capital bank as they are same, yet different. I gurantee they tried to HP your EXP.. Each card varies and alot of their majors wants Experian this is one of them at least in my case that wanted Experian. I believe Virgin also wanted it.
TRV also pulls Sagestream LLC. Good luck OP

I wonder why that is.... that most of the well know issuers like EX the best. They should be the same... so why? Maybe EX is cheaper for them? That's the only thing I can think of.
Not really true that is a broad statement.. Everyone wants EQ for me.. Citi/Chase and others.. Experian is my lowest Inquiries by far.. It depends where you live among other factors. BTW why is your EXP score 100 points lower than EQ/TU? I suspect that is part of the reason why you don't want to let them have a HP on it. Got to be a baddie or multiple baddies on that being Exp. that isn't reporting on the other CRA's hence the freeze?
