Interestingly, this is only the 2nd time Apple has came back with an offer and APR. They offered the me the below this time around
I usually get rejected bc of new accounts and inquiries. I'm 8/24, 3/12, 1/6 for new accounts. I'll be 5/24 by summer. Woohoo. Inquiries - (14 scorable on EX, 6 scorable on TU which they sp, 3 on EQ. UTI 5% across all cards with a 12k balance( 2 cards reporting under 16%). AAofA 3 yrs, AofOA 18 yrs. I didn't expect an offer since they always reject based on accts inquiries. My newest acct is 1 month old.
Correct me if I'm wrong but the Apple card isn't as appealing as it used to be bc there are plently other cards with better cash back? And really only good for financing apple products?

it's really not a competetive card by any means, more a lifestyle card or a novelty to have if anything
also the card won't grow without spend, so be prepared to spend if you take the offer
if nothing else, Apple Card is what I want all credit cards to be, and it was managed so poorly it's getting sold off, which is a shame

Well that, and to get 2% CB you need to use Apple Pay, if you use the physical cards you will only get back 1% CB. There a few stores that card offers 3% CB like the Apple Store, Nike.com, T-Moblie, but thats its. No sign-up bonus, but also no fees of any kind. IMO its a Ok card.

Thank you @GZG
I'm trying my best to garden until Feb 2025 so I can apply for US Bank or a potentially better rewards cards. Just need to lay low 11.5 more months 😅
I see what you mean by it being a lifestyle card. And yes, from everything I read here, you really need to put heavy spend to get it to grow.

Thanks @citymunky I didn't realize that. They really want you to use Apple Pay clearly. Thanks for the extra insight. I think I'll just garden until 2025 and look for better cards.
There's also the Apple Card HYSA, but in any case congrats on holding out for a better offer next time !

I'm going to continue gardening and see if I can make it to 2025 and take a crack at US Bank once again. Need to make it to Feb 2025.

Yea they want you use their Apple Pay. I forget to add to get the 3% CB for the select retailers you of course have to use...... Apple Pay.
Back when it was a prestigious CC and I was the one that didn't have it. Now I don't care. Good for you for saving a HP.
