Hello, I've had a few questions about applying for the Altitude Reserve that I just can't find the answer to.
1. Do any accounts towards their x/12 status? (not just CC)
2. If you do not already have a relationship, would being added to someone else's checking account make you elligible? (For a HH member) If so, could you apply for the card only in your name?
Thank you.

Looks like you have us bank+. That might count as relationship.
Only revolving accounts will be counted, but if you have too many inquiries from auto or mortgage, it might get denied for that reason.
If denied for inquiries unrelated to revolving accounts, recon is possible.
If cash+ is your card, you already have "relationship".
If you are AU, you dont.
Checking account wise, you'd have to be made into joint owner, you cannot just "be added", and you would need to stay as joint owner as long as you have AR, or open a different card with them.
No idea how or if it's even possible to "port" AR from one checking to another.
Ah, let me clarify for y’all, sorry. Here’s what we have:
Me (does not want to apply):
Checking
Cash+
HH Member (wants to apply):
-
I am wondering if making HH member a joint owner of my own checking account, will make *them* eligible to apply for an individual AR. Hopefully that’s better?

Yes, as joint account owner they would be able to apply for their own AR.
