US Bank Altitude Go Visa signature Card

Does one need to be an existing customer to be eligible for this card? If so, then what's the best way to go, checking or saving? Is double dip allowed for one HP- two cards from them at the same time/day? What to look for to increase your odds? Tnx

The Altitude Go does not have any pre-requisites as far as being a USB customer to apply.  Double-dipping is usually YEMV, in most cases expect 2 HPs.  Provided that you have decent scores, overall good profile, minimal inquiries and you haven't opened any new accounts in the past 12 months, then the odds would be good.

Agree, you don't have to have a current relationship with USB to grab the GO card (I just recently got the card myself with no relationship with them).  They are inquiry and new account sensitive (the past 12 months), so be aware of their requirements.

If you do try to get a checking/savings, then I recommend going for one of their checking options.  At the moment, you can earn a $400 SUB by opening a checking with the promo code 2021Q1C.  A couple of those options allows account fee waiver if you have a credit card with USB.  Link below for more info:
