US Bank Altitude Reserve - sufficient relationship?

Does anyone know if having a US Bank business card is sufficient enough of a relationship with US Bank to get the Altitude Reserve?

AFAIK all you need is a login to get to the app to apply.

"Sufficient" is subjective since there's a plethora of other factors that are considered to qualify. Having the Skypass biz CC may clear the first hurdle to submit the AR application internally, but the approval outcome is YEMV.

What other relationship requirements are there?

I believe @FinStar is talking other factors not necessarily related to the relationship aspect of applying but the actual application process since USB is very conservative on the UW for the AR. Not only do you have to be pretty much app free for the past six months they also are somewhat inquiry sensitive and also pull ARS/Sagestream when reviewing your app. If either of those are frozen then there's a likelihood they won't proceed with the app anyways. Like he said a lot of factors are involved.

Thank you, just wondering about the requirements for sufficient relationship.

Like Obscure said if you can login to the USB website you cleared the "sufficient relationship" hurdle. Just don't confuse the sufficient relationship aspect with the increased likelihood of an approval.

Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve - sufficient relationship?

@Aloha808 as you have mentioned about relationships ... US Bank establishes a "Customer Relations Score" for their customers. We generally do not have access to it but in theory, it will offer support for our banking needs when they arise. Do not know how that is affected by US Bank Business Products but it is a relationship.

Re: US Bank Altitude Reserve - sufficient relationship?

In the absence of any other personal products with USB, your best bet is to check with a USB banker if you have a branch near your area.

With some recent UW changes for the AR, and all other factors considered, a variety of folks have had some success having a personal depository relationship that is factored along with submitting an AR application.
