US Bank Application Delima 🤔

Okay, was gardening for a whole 3 weeks but should have known better to keep browsing the approval threads lol! Seeing several very encouraging US bank approvals by cold apping, no prior banking relationships, lesser profiles etc. So decided to hit up their gold checking package to possibly get in with them that way along with gaining that shiny Cash+ Visa Siggy I had been desiring. So placed my app last night and got instant denial for the checking. Of course this beings  no surprise as I do have ARS & Sagestream on the rocks. Then got 7-10 msg for Cash+. Called in to underwriting and they said they need access to not 1 but all (3) CRA’s! This completely throws me for a loop as they are know to be an EXP puller in my location. My gut is telling me because I applied for the gold checking package these particular apps are going to be TU pulls as some data point suggest and also which is my second worst CR 😕. So here is my delima....Do I roll the dice and thaw out TU and which heightens my risk for denial? Or cold app for another product say… 365 or FlexPerks in which the gamble is they pull EXP?  Thanks in advance.

Rough question Bruiser. Your TU is higher then mine when I was approved.  I had a decent amount of IQs when I applied.

But they pulled EX for me so as always YMMV. 

roll the dice. It’s one of my favorite earners. 5% at Best Buy is pretty sweet.

That gives me some added fuel indeed! My only concerns with TU is that I do have 5 student loan 120 day lates reporting from 2013, other than that Im fine.

At least I did couple of days ago with good result (finally! Sigh). Good thing they don’t offer the gold checking package in my state of TX so I was forced to cold app the CASH+! They always pull my EQ. None of my CRAs is on ice even Sagestream, ARS/IDA. 

Let’s do this!

Thats a tough one my friend. I say you've come this far, no turning back now. There must have been a fraud alert pop up on your app, like it did for me on my previous app.

I use wireless internet. So my IP might look as though I'm in another state other than home. That's what flagged my application.

You know what my friend you just might be on to something. I am actually out of state and also appied from my phone(WiFi connect). How did you get around this? Did this happen with your most recent app with them?

I was sent a letter to contact them. I did, but the fraud department never gave a yea or nay on my app. It basically died on the vine I guess.
At least they're trying to work with you.

This was my app from late last year. Not the current one.
