US Bank CLI's over 25K?

Coming up on my next scheduled CLI request for my Alt. GO, but am not quite sure about whether things will GO as planned (see what I did there?)

When i received my last increase on this card (Oct 2021), which I posted about here, I think I may have hit a ceiling for my profile, since I only received a 2k increase, vs. the 4k and 5k increases I had received before that. I also received a 5k bump on my Cash+ in February (posted here), but that card is only at $15k at the moment. All of these have been SP's to this point.

Before I take a spin, does anyone know if SP's continue past $25k? Does the smaller cli I received in October bode ill for my chances if I spin again? Any sage advice would be most appreciated! (Also, no changes to income, same <1% UTI, better DTI since my student loan was discharged in November)

History of my Alt. GO to date:

SL: $14,000 (Dec/2019)

CLI 1: +$4k --> $18,000 (July/2020)

CLI 2: +$5k --> $23,000 (Mar/2021)

CLI 3: +$2k --> $25,000 (Oct/2021)

For a variety of profiles, SP CLIs can still occur >$25K. Mine did. But, then again, that UW policy is not set in stone for every profile since my CLI outcomes have been a mixed bag. So, in your case, YEMV.

Thanks for that feedback @FinStar, were any of your SP cli's (beyond the 25k mark) the usual 4-5k-ish increases?

Yes, including those for USB business cards. Unfortunately, there is no rhyme or reason when they can HP (i.e. CL threshold, profile or account type, frequency, etc). The way I look at it, if you want a CLI, then be prepared for any outcome (HP or SP) with USB. And, while I realize some folks hold their HPs as precious stones, in the grand scheme of things it's part of being in the USB (or any lender's) sandbox.

Re: US Bank CLI's over 25K?

My DW asked for a CLI on her USB Cash+ a few weeks ago, and it resulted in a HP.  She normally got a SP in the past, but her CRA's have been frozen the past few attempts, and she received a notification of an attempted HP each attempt.  We unfroze her CRA's recently, and we were willing to let a HP occur if they tried... and they did.

Her Cash+ went from $20k to $25k with the HP after a few days in UW.  Wish it had been more since a HP occurred, but it is plenty (for now.... Smiley Very Happy )!

I've had my USB Go for about 14 months.  I've attempted a CLI twice, both times my CRA's were frozen and they tried a HP both times.  A couple of days ago, I was finally willing to take a HP if they attempted so I rolled the dice after thawing my CRA's and they did indeed HP.  Still in UW (I hope... otherwise it was a denial).

In summary, they are HP happy for my DW and myself lately so I don't know if that is the new norm for them or just for our profiles.  Good luck on whatever your decision is!
