Re: US Bank Cards

@credit_is_crack  your chart is correct

TU is "primary" for most, but depending on location, either one of the remaining two is possible.

TU is not exclusive,  and it's always FICO 9 classic (until it changes 😂).

I think people just see "Fico" and dont look at the actual version.

@Remedios gotcha. They do like the TU9, but I know they bounce around a bit and although it's not super common, they will double-pull on some folks (rare, but it happens)

You left-coasters... that's how I feel about TU over here on the east coast... EVERYONE PULLS EQ over here and it makes me sad.  My TU profile is better and gets no love.

Got AR at 2/6.  Applied for a self direct and a checking and an AR all on the same day.  SD and checking instant approval, AR went into review, auto approved days later.  Pulled TU.

Re: US Bank Cards

I applied for the Cash + 2 days ago and they pulled Experian (the one bureau I was hoping they wouldn't pull as I have an inquiry from the Amazon Prime Visa from 5/25 although the account doesn't show up). I am in California

I called UW today and seemingly was approved although I don't know the amount - I didn't continue on to a representative. The only other inquiry on my Experian is from a mortgage app dated 10/18 (it's also the only inquiry on TU and Equifax).

Newest account is from May 2018 (auto loan which is 90% paid off) other than the Amazon Prime Visa which hasn't reported.

My Experian Fico 8 score from earlier this month was 807

Re: US Bank Cards

When I've had HPs with USBank (all three bureaus by now, but they've seemed to settle into TU now that we've got 'history' together), they've also soft pulled other CRAs.  I wouldn't worry about just one CRA with them (nevermind their penchant for SageStream/ARS).

Re: US Bank Cards

Hey everybody,

Just an update. I received my denial letter today, new accounts listed and too short of history was listed as well. Interestingly enough, they did mention an altitude secured card available; If I wanted I would just have to contact my financial institution for an application. Interesting if someone wants an application for that. I may request one just to get information and share.

FICO Scores (current as of November 24, 2020): Equifax: 740 | Experian: 751 | TransUnion: 732
