US Bank Denial!!

Applied a week ago, got the pending approval spill, waited a day and called, still pending. Pulled TU 662, 16 Inqs. Declined, got letter, too many inquiries, age on new accounts.

Don't sweat the picky banks. There will always be picky banks, with strict requirements.

If you get your score above 700, which you more than likely will - if you just wait until those inquiries fall off - you will probably get approved; assuming you didn't run up a bunch of debt, in the mean time.

Yeah, i figured as much as well. That will end my spree with that one. Pretty decent run since 11/2017.

Re: US Bank Denial!!

Do you already have any accounts with USB?  If not you need to establish a relationship with USB or they are very picky and usually give a small SL. Most of the USB card holders usually have some sort of account already, (Mortgage, Checking, or Savings). Being that there was a HP already, maybe you should start a checking account and ask to use that HP for an overdraft option. They report the OD account on your CR and it really does help with UT, and AAOA. Another thing to take note is you should probably get your score higher and let some of those INQ drop off. Very conservative bank, but very generous once you establish a relationship. Good luck!!
